Reflections of a Philosophical Voyager
In December 1802 Nicolas Baudin wrote a letter to the well-known Governor of NSW, Philip Gidley King. He writes frankly about Britain's claims to territory in the Pacific region and the rights of the displaced indigenous population. This first edition of the letter has a transcription of the original French text with a translation and commentary by Jean Fornasiero.
